I’m an IT professional with more than 20 years in the game, and every day I enjoy more my work.
Although I started my career as Developer I was moved to IT area early and I have not leave it anymore. My expert area has been Microsoft but lately I have started to fight with Linux too, at the same time that I’m accompanying Accenture in its exciting journey to the Cloud and the Digital world.
I love the project management role too, and from 2011 I am a certified PMP. I support Project Management Institute work in the PM area and I was a volunteer for more than 3 years working in a group named Project Managers para el Desarrollo. A group that work with Spain NGOs to help them to implement PM in their organizations.
As I am involved in the Operations area during the last years, I get the ITIL Expert certification on 2016. It is another exciting area that I like to talk about.
You can visit my Linkedin profile if you want to know more about my career.
One of my hobbies is to collaborate with NGOs, I had the opportunity to be part of FietGratia organization from 2012 to 2016. First as volunteer, then as treasurer and finally as a Member of the Board. I like to participate as volunteer on the NGOs sponsored by Accenture Spain Foundation too, so you will see some post about that in my blog.
Other of my favorite hobbies is to learn. From course 2017-2018 I have started a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management on Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, so wait for a lot of entries about business topics from now.
I started this blog in 2008 as a place where put fixes, tips, tools, etc. that could be useful for my day-by-day work, but since then it has been evolving in the same way that my career do it as well, so right now this blog is a mishmash. I don’t try to teach you nothing that you don’t know right now, I’m just trying to share some ideas, tips, thoughts, etc. I hope you could find one useful for you.
I have take the decision to start to use spanish on my posts from now. I love my mother language and it is one of the most used around the world, so I think it is a good opportunity to share my thoughts on spanish. If you have problems with one of the posts, please, let me know and I will translate it if needed.
Note: This is a personal blog, so please, take into account that my opinions are totally personal and in any case I’m talking in the name of neither the company I work for nor the rest of organizations with which I collaborate.
